LINC Convenor Activities
Connectivity drives the sector. Strategic and collaborative planning, resource-sharing across urban and rural centers, creates the opportunity for collective excellence in LINC and LARC service delivery. Through bridging of gaps between SPO’s and across both urban and rural centers, we are empowering LINC teams to seamlessly exchange the high-value resources and tools critical for efficient program delivery and newcomer success.

A working group of representatives from 26 service providers across the BC/Yukon, who plan and facilitate effective delivery of LINC & LARC services through:

Advisory Committee
The LINC Sector Advisory Committee (LSAC) engages in collaboration and mentorship within the BC/Yukon region to facilitate unified, consistent, quality, efficient and effective LINC & LARC program delivery for clients across the BC /Yukon Region.
LINC Gathering
A specialized invitation-only event brings together key LINC & LARC professionals to share best practices, explore innovative strategies, and develop solutions to strengthen our sector.
LINC Teacher Training
A free 6-week training for LINC instructors in the BC/Yukon region to enhance teaching skills, expand professional network, and build a sustainable career in LINC.
LINC Resource Sharing
Tools, guides, and sector resources are created and collaboratively refined to support the diverse needs of LINC instructors, administrative staff, program leadership, and LINC learners, to facilitate consistent, responsive, and effective services across the region.
Admin Hub
A collaborative space created for LINC administrative staff to build stronger communication, consistency, and support across programs, ensuring admin staff have a place to learn from one another and contribute to continuous improvement.
